"Nuestro Pueblo" is scheduled to make it's international premiere in 2011 at the Japan Flute Association convention, and at the Austrailian Flute Festival. More details to come.
The Vista Woodwind Quintet will perform "Three Pysanky" in concert on January 21, 2011, in Santa Monica at the Miles Playhouse, and on January 23, 2011, in San Pedro at the Grand Annex.
"Koliady" and "Kinda Blue Xmas" will be performed by the Los Angeles Flute Orchesta on December 4, 2010, at the Santa Monica Public Library.
Ron Kischuk & the Masters of Music Trombones will be performing on September 5 at the Detroit Jazz Festival. Program will feature Peter's trombone ensemble charts.
Peter's new concerto for low flute soloist and flute ensemble "Nuestro Pueblo" was premiered at the 2010 National Flute Association Convention in Anaheim, CA on August 14. It was performed by low flute soloist Peter Sheridan and the Los Angeles Flute Orchestra.
Ron Kischuk & The Masters Of Music Trombones have released the CD, "J.J. - The Music Of J.J. Johnson". All tracks on the album were arranged for the jazz trombone ensemble by Peter Senchuk. The CD is available for sale and download at CD Baby.
Peter will conduct the Palisades Symphony Winds on February 8, 2009. The program will include the premiere of his new composition "Short Symphony - for winds and percussion". The concert will also include works by Max Reger and Jean Francaix.
