Welcome to the official website for the music of Peter Senchuk.  Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, this Los Angeles based composer’s music includes feature film scores, as well as concert works for big band, chamber ensembles and full orchestra.

Peter will conduct the Palisades Symphony Winds on February 8, 2009. The program will include the premiere of his new composition "Short Symphony - for winds and percussion". The concert will also include works by Max Reger and Jean Francaix.

Chamber Players of Los Angeles performed "Three Pysanky" for woodwind quintet in a concert in Santa Monica on November 15.

Peter conducted the Los Angeles Flute Orchestra in a concert on the Preview Series in Manhattan Beach, on October 18, 2008. The group premiered his new work, "Monk's Groove".

Peter's flute orchestra piece "Under The Sun", was performed by the Professional Flute Choir at the closing gala concert at the annual National Flute Association convention in Kansas City, in August 2008.

Peter completed scoring Justin Seibel's film "Kill, My Lovely". The film will be screening at various film festivals around the counrty.

“Eve of Understanding” has been released on DVD, by Vanguard Cinema. It is available on Netflix, and from Hollywood Video and Amazon.com.
